Motorola is light on details but heavy on hype for its first book-style foldable.
The idea is that Qira remembers your context from other devices, allowing you to take action across apps, create documents, and get supposedly useful reminders. Qira will launch on Lenovo laptops soon, with Motorola phones in the Edge and Razr family soon after. The new AI platform, which relies on technology from the likes of Microsoft and Perplexity, will be available on the Razr Fold at launch.
I feel bad for anyone who would use this dogshit.
How is this fold new or different than the Pixel Fold or Samsung Fold from as early as 2019?
Awesome!
I’ve been waiting for them to do book style foldables for a while now (don’t really see the point in flips)
Now let’s just hope the multitasking experience is on par with Samsung/OPPO(don’t really see the point in flips)
fold up small in pockets, have minimal outerscreen for notications, and unfold for full screen use. It’s not rocket appliances.
I’m a little surprised by this. I suppose there must be a market but I’m certainly not aware of it. The only people I have ever seen using this type of folding phone are YouTubers.
I’ve personally known 2 people now to own folding phones, neither still had them more than 12months later
Sold or broken?
Broken on both as far as I’m aware
I’m on my second Galaxy flip in three years.
