Unless I’m missing something about how to use it the text tool in Krita is terrible though. Been designing cards with people the last few weeks and we ended up making the general design and layout in Krita then brought things into GIMP to add text

Bitburner
It’s a programming idle/incremental game. Has a bit of a learning curve (not bad if you already know how to code) but it is my favorite programming game. It scratches so many itches and it really invites players to explore. There are even secret achievements you can only get by messing with the source code and rebuilding it!
I was generally planning on switching once windows 10 died but being on Lemmy helped convince me to not only switch earlier, but also I just dove right in with arch. I’d say it was like 2/3 Lemmy and 1/3 Proton that made me switch not because I felt I needed to but because I was actually excited to
A few months ago my roommate asked if I could zhuzh up their old laptop. It was old enough I was still able to open it up, add some ram, switch to a tb SSD, better network card. I slapped mint on their too. Their first experience with Linux and after showing them some really basic terminal commands I’ve never had them ask for help since. It just works
I should fucking hope so lol. Doesn’t matter to me anymore though I switched to Arch btw
House size and media consumption are going to be big factors here I think. You get four people trying to stream, game, listen to music, whatever it is people these days use phones for, etc; it’s going to really add up. Sure lots of people barely use the internet and are getting sold way more than they need but it’s not uncommon anymore for multiple hd things to be simultaneously happening in one house
Jfc, do you have a source on that? I’m going to be so fucked if that’s the case
Nvm think I found it: https://taxfoundation.org/blog/us-remittances-tax-big-beautiful-bill/
Just a few weeks away and I’m moving from the US to Sweden. Please US dollar, hold value long enough for me to get a bank account and transfer everything
You can use archinstall and it is dummy simple. Just have another computer or phone around to look things up and go down the menu like a checklist. My admittedly limited arch experience has so far been “run archinstall, use pacman to install tools as I run into things I’d like to have”. I have a Framework 16 with the built in GPU, I imagine some hardware complicates this process but just look stuff up it’s all out there unless you’re on some really wild hardware. Even without archinstall you can follow the arch wiki and you’re basically replicating what the tool does but using the wiki as your checklist and needing to type more
Do I have to be a citizen of the EU or just live there? I’m going to be moving to Sweden soon but won’t be a citizen for a long while still
Tell me you’ve never been to a national park without telling me you’ve never been to a national park 😂
Of all the opportunities I’ve had to tell someone to touch grass this one is the most fitting. Fam I’m sorry you’ve forgotten to go outside but self care is important and I think you could benefit from touching grass
What nature areas are you going to? The US sucks for a lot of reasons you can pick from. No need to make stuff up too
The US is gigantic we’ve got something for everyone here. In particular there are massive national forests with trails of any size you can think of (the Palouse Cascades trail goes from Seattle all the way to Idaho it’s 300 miles long, the Appalachian trail takes months to hike the full distance). We’ve also got a lot of different cultures to explore, foods to eat, and history to see.
For sure don’t come here currently our government is dangerous and we don’t deserve tourist money. There are lots of reasons why someone might want to come to the US though.
Wake up babe, new lower surgery tech just dropped
This is great news but I’m curious what it’s going to take for your underwear to fly off
Other than the coloration I’m actually not sure. I’ve heard wild ones are tougher but haven’t seen any actual sources personally. I’d really hope they’re smarter too otherwise everything I know about survival of the fittest is in question. Many (most maybe?) of the captive bred ones are descendants of scientific studies so there could be traits like increased regenerative abilities that were bred in but I honestly don’t know
Ones with albinism are common but they can actually have lots of colorations. They are crossbred with tiger salamanders though making them genetically different from wild axolotls. Having cared for a couple I can also say they’re dumber than a block of cheese and I’m honestly amazed they’re surviving in the wild in any capacity
Being edible and farmable can also work
Their examples where they’re trying to trick me into not finding things as quickly with a bunch of syntax highlighting worked exactly the opposite for me. Also I use dark theme because I don’t like burning a hole through my retinas from working all day it has nothing to do with highlighting options. This is a very subjective topic being presented as fact to such a degree it feels like satire
