We are currently in a heat patch of 90°f weather; primarily we get 80°f+ weather in August. Delivering a Steam Deck would take about 2 weeks according to the website and I want to know what I should do in the case of the package being outside in the mail truck and porch for so long on really hot days?

I reckon it’d be fine, I doubt 90f/30c would do any damage. Especially boxed up

Nah, you’re fine: That’s well below the limits of the operating temperature (plus it’s off, so it’s not like it can overheat itself anyhow), never mind that it would probably be cooler inside the box than on the surface.

    According to Valve:

    The Steam Deck’s safe storage temperature range is between -20° - +60° C (-4° - +140° F).
