    New processor with higher number beats older one with lower number. In other news, new day has higher number than previous day!

      Yes, but 9000 non-x3d did not beat the older version and arguably was worse in some games.

      It’s sad, but your statement is not a given.

        I mostly mock the stupid “obsolete”. Even if it beats it, it will cost more and is less available.

          If this was a YouTube thumbnail, it would also have a stupid arrow pointing to it and a mind blown (or smiling poop) emoji. Maybe some fire too? Oh, a trash bin, of course!

        That is also also not surprising. X3D cpus have been pretty strong for games. The regular processors are for people who do not need gaming performance.
