Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said Thursday that his government has not been successful in trying to negotiate the 50% tariff on Brazilian imports that Donald Trump has threatened to impose.

Washington has ignored Brazil’s attempts to negotiate ahead of the measure’s expected implementation on Aug. 1., the Brazilian leader said.

    I’m 100% convinced that trump just forgot, and there’s a whole hierarchy of government workers with zero guidance, trying to figure out how to reply to Brazil’s email.

      I’m brazilian and I agree. Bolsonaro (and his sons) tries to kiss his ass 24/7 and trump probably doesn’t even know where Brazil is in the map

        If you gave him a globe without lines he would only be able to find america because of Florida. Might get Australia and Greenland. That’s it. He doesn’t even know he took bribes from Brazilian ranchers.
