    It means downloading not from the internet but from another device.

    Google wants it to mean installing software they don’t condone, but I don’t see why the rest of it should follow their lead. I don’t know anyone who calls installing from FDroid “sideloading”

    The words people use influences public opinion and the bottom line of corporations such as Ford and Google.
