“No Duh,” say senior developers everywhere.
The article explains that vibe code often is close, but not quite, functional, requiring developers to go in and find where the problems are - resulting in a net slowdown of development rather than productivity gains.
This is the truth. It has tremendous value but it isn’t a solution – it’s a tool. And if you don’t know how to code or what good code looks like, then it is a tool you can’t use!
