So instead of tuning the law by adding a few lines about sex-centered homicides, they invented the new term and just stated that some sex is more important than other. It is amazing how politicians manage to invent the most stupid solution to any problem.

Anyway a “gendercide” law could be great and could include also hate crimes against homosexuals, transsexuals and so on, but guess what?

Honestly any kind of gender-motivated hate murder should be punished but from my point of view isn’t the biggest issue the murder part? If you’re already sentencing someone for an intentional murder wouldn’t they be ideally getting something resembling a maximum sentence? In which case would the specific motive really make a huge difference in punishment? I’m just trying to understand why this is a big deal when the starting point is already murder.
