    The article does a good job to show both perspectives but I have to imagine that flooding the market with rhino horn would reduce poaching since poaching is surely quite expensive. The extra revenue could be used for conservation too.

      Use the money you got from killing rhinos to save the ones you didn’t kill yet? Sounds like a stupid, losing bet.

        You’re dehorning them anyway. Not to mention that South Africa apparently has 30 tonnes of horn lying around
