    What’s the problem?

In America generally we have the right to confront the witnesses against us as part of due process before the government deprives us of life, liberty, or property. Traffic cameras that issue fines are often unconstitutional for this reason. You can’t cross-examine a speed camera in court. They make mistakes and it’s very, very hard to hold them accountable when they do, so a lot of places don’t allow them.

Yeah there needs to be extreme fines for manufacturers if it’s found they’re wrongly issuing tickets. The problem here isn’t the cameras, it’s the law. You should definitely have the right to request the camera be tested
