With brash threats aimed all around the region, the president and his team made it clear Venezuela might be just the beginning, sparking fear across the Western hemisphere.
Venezuela has over 28 million people. Greenland has 56 thousand. Even if you assumed the latter could punch above its weight because it’s a rich first-world country – and even if you included the whole 6 million population of Denmark in your assessment too – the idea of working up to it from Venezuela seems backwards to me.
“Practicing” doesn’t necessarily need to mean only militarily. Taking over a country here and there. Starting with countries that have bad people in charge. Working up to more and more controversial targets. 😅
