President Donald Trump said he worked out a "complex" long-term deal for the U.S. to acquire Greenland with the NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Wednesday.

NATO released a statement on Wednesday shortly after President Donald Trump announced he and NATO Secretary Secretary General Mark Rutte had “formed’ a “framework” of a deal on Greenland. The NATO statement came amid new reporting from the New York Times that deal may include the U.S. being given “sovereignty over small pockets” of land in Greenland.

    Isn’t Rutte the worm that keeps brownnosing him? Does he even have the authority to unilaterally give away “pockets” of another country?

      He doesn’t. What he does have the authority to do, is sell Trump a 75-ish year old deal made by Truman.

      Literally all this does is shut the toddler up, and invite him to sit at the kids table while the adults talk.

      Of course not. This is all a face-saving canard. He’ll be back to threatening nuclear war again in a couple weeks.
