Is it fair that immigrants are punished twice? IDK, but this is what it seems most people want.
If the sentence is only 1 year, is it really that serious though?
“Simple” violence is 3 years. And we recently had a case where the sentence for rape was 16 months, despite the woman admittedly never said no, but it was rape because the man couldn’t prove she said yes. Rape is up to 8 years, so it is very unlikely to only get 1 year for rape. I can’t imagine being innocent and going to jail without evidence.IDK I think this sounds harsh, especially considering we have had cases with fake rape accusations, one woman alone had 4 men in jail for rape, but it was revealed by a family member of one of the victims that she had admitted to her it was a lie while she was being recorded!
These cases are not clear cut, and I hate that innocent people can go to jail completely innocent and without evidence!!!
Now immigrants risk being thrown out of the country too, even when they are innocent!I don’t think I like this development.
That is an important point. Someone falsely accused of a serious crime, with muddy enough evidence, can get “1 year conditional imprisonment”. Especially if they look a bit foreign.
Now imagine the new power rando danes now hold over immigrants.

Lets not use that word when it doesn’t apply. I’m not a fan of our current government, they have done some very stupid shit, but they are absolutely nowhere near fascist. They have done a few things that are dangerous because actual fascists can abuse it, but that doesn’t make them fascist, just fucking idiots.
Call us what we are, complacent and lazy, not fascist.
