Many of these people want to pretend that AI is somehow on the verge of becoming sentient, because that would absolve them of some guilt, but nothing could be further from the truth. The AI is just correlating pixels the way it was meant to.
Just read the headline because paywall. Made me giggle as this appears to be the first investigation into AI for sexual harassment towards humans.
