I’d say it depends on a few things… I have absolutely no problem using ING and Sparkasse apps with my degoogled phone running iodéOS, which is based on lineage OS… As long as you have Google Play services or MicroG running it should work as far as I know, but maybe if you’re from the US or at least not from Germany you may encounter problems.
