Beautiful! I really need to get into docker but I’m lazy. Atm I have a HyperV server running VMs with pihole, owncloud and OPNSense
In the EU i dont think it does
First you need to think what the final use is going to be. Because I feel like everyone here can do already a lot with a tenth of the power
I’ve setup “OwnCloud”, I’m a nerd but never had real serious experiences with linux, I work in IT so I understand the basics of many things.
I’ve setup a debian VM on HyperV on my totally legal Windows server (Yes, nothing is opensource but at the same time while doing this stuff I learn new things for my job which is nice).
Mainly I followed this guides: https://www.tecmint.com/install-owncloud-in-debian/ https://kifarunix.com/install-owncloud-server-on-debian-10-buster/
It’s running since 3 years and I’m amazed by how low maintenance it is. It syncs the whole library with 2 of my computers and on-demand files on the android app.
Yes but it’s the creators that brings the people. YouTube worked because at the beginning it was the only place where you could upload videos and nobody was thinking about making a dime.
I just downloaded a game from gdrive. Wait a couple weeks and they are going to close down google
In newpipe you are still using yt servers so I guess the answer is yes (since you are leeching bandwidth without watching ads)
You are not just draining your battery tho, you are actually enjoying higher quality content :)
The reality is that nothing is really dying and nothing is really changing. Twitter is still fully operational and other than a small hit nothing happened. Twitch already did a step back. For Reddit we’ll see but only a really small percentage of reddit is using third party apps.
You could have bought whatever other brand and then buy an adapter for it.
There are like “dell to hp” adapter or stuff like that
