From my experiences it goes more like this “In an ideal world, we’d behave this way. We’re not in an ideal world though and your competitors have no problem doing this so you should know what to do, in case the market determines it’s the best course.” with a knowing wink thrown in.

Then at least use something fancy like a flight stick! The F710 makes… anything newer than the Gravis Gamepad look like luxury!

Just get the F310, like me, and you can enjoy that three foot range without batteries.

So, yeah, I use my Deck all the time. I take it with me on work and road trips but I’m always driving or working so it honestly gets most of it’s use on the couch. Six feet from the much more powerful gaming PC and six feet from the living room media PC that can also play games. Hundreds of dollars of GPU in one room and hundreds of hours using the Deck instead.

I run a Linux machine literally next to my Windows desktop and yeah it’s 98% for my daily usually but that’s still a week worth of “Not working” for my year.

Fallout 3 was hard enough to get working on Windows many moons ago but even with all the “Use Lutris” or “Use Heroic” cries, it’d be easier to run a whole Windows VM than to get it running natively and in the forty minutes of time I have to game, I’d rather just play the game sometimes.

So, if I have to play in their Sandbox, I’m gonna shit in it first so they don’t try to come play too.

Plus, VR and all that.
