I stopped building my own PCs over a decade ago because I was barely getting the parts at the same rate they would’ve come in a pre-built, ram was always hard to get, good deals “sold out” so quickly, and if a part goes bad it’s easier to take it to a warranty repair than it is for me to fight with the vendors myself.
My main machines recently have been low power laptops, my steam deck, and my phone, using GeForce now has allowed me to play most of my games on shit hardware, and my 10 year old games run just fine (mostly) on my 5 year old laptop.
Steam controller 2.0, it’ll be the last controller valve ever makes.
Any educated guesses, or layman guesses, about the price?
My layman guess is 600-800, the low price being same price as the top end steam deck on release

It was successful because of how easy the liver is to target with medications.
“Fixing” one organ doesn’t change the entire bodies genotype, female sex cells will continue to (potentially) carry the defect.
These genetic “diseases” are not all without any benefit, the most common example is sickle cell anemic people have higher resistance to malaria.
There’s no telling how “fixing” things generically will alter other systems in the body, it was done to one organ to a briefly observed window of success, that’s barely more than anecdotal evidence.

Having read the article, 3rd party batteries are the same price as the original battery used to be. A shame the oled batteries aren’t compatible with the LCD units.
