“Fixing” one organ doesn’t change the entire bodies genotype, female sex cells will continue to (potentially) carry the defect.

These genetic “diseases” are not all without any benefit, the most common example is sickle cell anemic people have higher resistance to malaria.

There’s no telling how “fixing” things generically will alter other systems in the body, it was done to one organ to a briefly observed window of success, that’s barely more than anecdotal evidence.

Very easy to tell if someone knows what they wrote about in a two minute conversation. My wife grades/t.a’s at a university, it’s obvious when someone doesn’t know the information in person (and she’s very understanding towards people who cannot verbalize the information but still know it). The old professors aren’t very keen to it, but the graders can very easily smell the bullshit.

And if you know the information well enough, but send it through gpt for editing/refinement, that’s usually accepted, unless you’re in a class that grades on composition.

They need to fix their community ui, that you still can’t search on their forums is a colossal oversight on their part
