Beyond that I recommend searching based on your OS or distribution as the commands may differ ever so slightly on the installation.

I set up SAMBA so that I don’t have to keep a copy of the content on my computer. I also don’t need an application. But, setting up the SAMBA server requires a few terminal commands and editing a text file.
I do this too, and avoid as much as possible having folders within folders, eg;
me-photos
me-music
me-documents
john-photos
john-music
work-documents
work-letter-templates
And so on. Sort by name.
I have read elsewhere that port knocking is just security through obscurity and isn’t worth considering. I found it when searching for ways to set it up and that put me off.

I had just been adding the newer entries above the previous. I’d put a heading on those in the format of YYY-MM-DD but that’s all manual on my part.

What features does Diaryo have that makes it better for journaling? I always thought of journaling as just note-taking about a different subject (my day).
I’m rethinking how I keep notes etc and something you wrote really caught my attention; that you don’t use it for journaling but do for note-taking.
What are the differences between note taking and journaling that requires different applications? Also, what do you use for journaling in that case?
I see the copyright holder of a book asking them to take it down from years ago. No response from internet archive. Feel sorry for the guy and I stopped donating to internet archive since then.

Really liked SUSE back in the 00s. I found .deb and apt never gave me a breakage so I never returned, but I’m sure they have something more sophisticated these days too.
