I’m envisioning Bookwyrm behaving as a comments section for anna’s archive (possibly all/any decentralised book repositary), but they’d be reviews instead. I’m reminded of discus or facebook that you often get embedded on certain sites.

YouTube does change how videos are accessed so the apps need to update every time that happens.
I think this is what has happened.
Grayjay from Louis Rossman’s company is really good - you can even log in with youtube etc. It looks amazing. It looks like a Tachiyomi for Video and Livestreaming!!! You can add other sources.
I only recently stopped using it. And a lot of content on the internet, expecially ones for download use rar part files to split it up and host freely.

Rents work this way; it wouldn’t be a surprise if the same playbook was adopted by these neo-feudalists.
If they tied a bookwyrm comments section to an ISBN number for example then anybody/site could easily have it embedded to make it a universal tool rather than specifically connected to a piracy site.
