Honestly even for the prices of around 500$ that I’m seeing it for it looks like a pretty good value to get 32gb of vram. I see it says 300w on AMD’s product page for it does it have any way of power limiting the card to get more efficiency/less heat?

If you long press on the auto rotate quick setting there should be a toggle for “Show rotate button at bottom of screen”

Saw a video going over the cu unlock recently. Pretty cool how much value is possible to get out of this thing. Wonder what performance/efficiency could be if the CUs were unlocked and then everything undervolted.

I do like the idea of more competition to reddit here but we’ll see how well it does. I know bluesky is considered like fauxfediverse but it’s better than nothing as far as mainstream apps go.

When the first controller and link came out it was hard to get for a while before stock evened out after some time. I’d argue this one is gonna probably sell out for longer due to supply chain restrictions on top of the now larger user base of steam now compared to back then.

Til Intel had and dropped support for VVC. Also TIL it’s 6 years old I thought it was still in active development.

It was cool to read about some of the things that go on in the background during development.

It’s also insanely scummy that Netflix forces manufacturers to put the button on the remote in order to let the box access them for streaming. They don’t even provide any kickbacks for doing so it’s JUST to use the Netflix app on the box.

I’m glad they provide the option for both ports but I worry it might be confusing for consumers and a dongle might have been a better call here. They probably should’ve done what Nvidia has done and have the firmware for HDMI on the video chip rather than on the OS.
