If it’s a standard that’ll only work on new chips and so many people already have TVs I don’t see this being super widely adopted unless there’s backwards compatibility.

It’s kinda like an open source version of last.fm scrobbling. One feature they have that I was interested in was the weekly discover playlist.
Interesting so they’re using secure boot to hardware ban but I could see used hardware being an issue now :/
So it figures out where you are based on vibes?
Looks like there was an update:
Update 7/14/25: Pancake has just posted a new update on the Decky Plugin controversy on the Lossless Scaling discord server:
Hello everyone! I’d like to clear up some things after the previous announcement, which caused way too much unnecessary drama.
Behind the scenes, I’ve been talking to both Deck Wizard and Kurt (xXJSONDeruloXx on GitHub), who is the creator of the Decky plugin. The situation we got into was caused purely by poor communication, so we sat down and discussed the future of the plugin together.
Let’s get into the news then. The Decky plugin will remain unofficial and unsupported in this discord, not as a means to discourage using it, but rather to keep the growing load of support away from me, as I have barely anything to do with the plugin. Together with Kurt and Deck Wizard we’ve fixed the major labeling issues in the plugin, as well as created an update video on Deck Wizard’s channel that you can watch here: Future support with the Decky plugin will happen in the Discord server linked in the video description and depending on which category your issue falls into, you may be forwarded to this discord instead.
In the future, some pretty big changes will be coming to lsfg-vk which will likely require a portion of the plugin to adapt. I will be working with Kurt to get the changes into the plugin as quickly as possible, however this warrants a whole other announcement and I can’t promise any timeframe (it could be hours, days or weeks).

Doesn’t seem like that much controversy. Just a plugin that got released early in development and will have to be rewritten at some point. I’d probably hold off until a full release but early showcases I’ve seen of it seem really promising and I’m excited to see the completed version.
Is ram that’s used on arm chips usually lower power than x86 or can they be interchangeable?
Bought and played helldivers 2 for the first time. Would’ve originally bought it on release but I was sused out by the game protect program. Seems like it’s been fine for most people up to now so I went with getting it finally.
The main appeal for the deck to me is the ability to run games well on lower wattages. Sure the other options can run games better than the deck but it seems like you want handheld efficiency/battery life over better performance for less battery then the deck is the main choice.
Is the reason other manufacturers aren’t using silicon carbide because they don’t have easy access / manufacturing lines to the tech, it’s too expensive, or it’s not proven in terms of reliability? I mean I can excuse Samsung because of the note 7 issue but I haven’t exactly heard anything bad coming from this tech yet.
Does this apply to manifest 3 extension changes as well or is this something different
I see everyone suggesting revolt but what about teamspeak?
So if it can only be collected in small amounts and it’s in such high demand why isn’t more grown?
Here’s a link to their website https://molly.im/ It also links to their GitHub. If you’d want to backup what you’d do is link molly to your iphone signal instance and then the Android client or molly android client of signal allows you to make local backups on device.
Restoring it back to the iPhone won’t be possible but there’s a backup at least. Or rather maybe with that recent change the article talks about it might be possible in the future but not currently afaik.
You can on Android. If you have an iPhone you can link using the molly signal fork on an android device and then backup using that.
I thought this was an April fool’s article at first.
I don’t think I saw it mentioned but if you’re already running/subbed to bitdefender av then you can install that on phone to detect it.
removed my only account from sudoers
My best guess is it’ll fallback or include data for DV1 data in content with DV2 otherwise they are really shooting themselves in the foot lol
