  • I think the answer is pretty simple: immigration and the cultures and behaviour that come with impoverished people.

It was the leading factor of Brexit and Trump.

People just don’t want waves of migration and it all either felt forced on people, the problems dismissed and hand waved away, or no serious action taken. It’s a highly unpopular thing and people are willing to swallow the problems of fascism because it seems the right wing parties are the only ones actually acknowledging the problem.

It sucks and progressive parties need to do something about it if they have any hope of retaining their popularity.

P.S. don’t shoot the messenger here, I’m not right wing, I just think this is what’s going on.

  • Nice job completely ignoring the key difference between the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and the rest of those agreements: an alignment with Nazi Germany to STEAL LAND! Just like fascist Russia is doing again with Ukraine.

“Under the Secret Protocol, Poland was to be shared, while Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Bessarabia went to the Soviet Union. The protocol also recognized the interest of Lithuania in the Vilnius region. In the west, rumoured existence of the Secret Protocol was proven only when it was made public during the Nuremberg trials”

You can try to re-write history all you want, but the Soviets/Russians were in alignment with Nazi Germany to further their imperialistic goals.
