I can’t find details of what China’s existing tariffs on the US were? I’m not saying I don’t belief you, I’m interested in what they were - any chance you could link me to the details please?

I’m in the UK, my wife mocks me daily for having a desire to understand what the US now is and to act on that.
I would say not a single friend or family member that I can tell if openly talking action.
It’s so disappointing but I’ll trudge on and hope they turn on eventually
Yup, that’s the way it’s going. There won’t be enough take up so they’ll start putting features ("oh, you want golf, that’ll be the $3.99/month golf subscription) and data like personal bests behind the paywall
Ah thanks, and apologies as I could have just ecosia’ed that ;)
I recall an app called endomondo doing similar. I’d bought the Pro version for lifetime only to find them move to a Premium option.
That was fine as I still had what I had paid for… until take up wasn’t good enough and slowly key features moved behind the paywall.
Im fairly certain this is the direction this is going. I wonder if there’ll be a class action if so to force buy back of the hardware
This was in my mind but I don’t spend money easily so intend to replace it when it breaks.
I’ll need to reassess if the US invades
Sorry, what does that achieve please?
Oh, and the basic - don’t carry your cell phone/smart watch regardless of whether it’s switched off
I think the phrase is “I couldn’t care less”.
I can’t argue with that, at least in the US that’s always been a strength of their’s.
I initially held the view that range was irrelevant if it’s a massive battery but even on that score Tesla seemed to be ahead of the game for a long time on the efficiency (miles per kw). Not sure if the market has caught up as I’m not at that end of the food chain so speak.
I can understand why your next one will be electric as pretty much all the benefits you describe are benefits of an EV not a Tesla.
I drive an old beater of a leaf and have the same list
I reckon the Mazda badge is a good call as the tesla 3 has the vibe of a Mazda I think.
I rmemeber rocking up to guys place to buy a sofa and his mum was there, I said I really liked her Hyundai Coupe and she said it wasn’t one as she’d got different badges on it. Found it so funny that it was a nice looking car at the time but she clearly couldn’t cope with the idea of owning a Hyundai
I’m genuinely so excited to have actually encountered one in the wild. That is, someone that is trying to claim that Elon didn’t sieg heil multiple times. Fascinating, they said people would but I just didn’t believe them
I feel bad that as consumers at best we label all under Trump’s banner, at worst we don’t have the ability to punish only the red states like government tariffs can do
Stay strong
Yup, me too. By coincidence I’ve moved from us platform to an non-us one so that nice too.
The idea isn’t to eliminate all spend, it’s the low hanging fruit and then go from there. I’m seeing it as a game with badges to collect!!
Thanks. Yes, that’s the only reference I can find also
