America will never get back to the goodwill they had unless something drastic changes within the US. America voted for Trump, do you think they won’t vote for another Trump within the next few decades that will destroy any return to normalcy that may come with a few good presidents? No, it will probably continue to decline as Republicans vote in a terrible president every 8-12 years (at most, hopefully)

So then not only are you still boiling them alive, but you are also causing a lot of pain by unnecessarily stabbing their face off?

Mine has the 2 for volume and 1 for power, as well as a toggle switch to change from silent, vibrate, and sound for the ringer which I quite like.

If they ban social media they should also make it illegal to block access to a website without an account.
They should still be able to browse Facebook and Instagram even without an account, since they are no longer legally able to have an account, and communities and government still insist on posting important information through social media websites that younger people should be able to have access to.

Ah, yes. It’s the first system that freshly evolved monkeys created thousands of years ago. It must surely be the best system to stick with.

Why do we have monuments for victims of communism and not monuments for victims of capitalism?

This isn’t age verification, it is ID verification. They don’t care how old you are, they want to know who you are.

Amazon also endorses fraud. Found a product which had a blatant lie in the description and specification pages but do you think I can find the report product button? Absolutely no where to be found.

Why raise residential tares and not commercial / industrial rates?
Oh, because businesses are subsidizes through taxes. Of course.

I wonder what modern day relevant military super vehicle would be for the navy.
Submarines that can store a couple thousand attack drones? Emerge from hiding below the water and then a bunch of drones just take off to attack various ships and planes in the area?

I really hate the term native ad. It makes it sound like it isn’t the worst thing ever invented.
It should instead be called invasive ads or undercover ads.

There’s no guarantee they will even be around to recycle the rings in two years time. The way tech companies are going these days it’s probably not very likely.

They have vibe journalists now

“alleging”
Nah, he was murdered. No question about it. Same with every other person in the boat strikes.
Just because it’s done with a drone or a bomb doesn’t make it any different, even if they were involved in drugs or not.
If you had a guy walking around with a bunch of heroin somewhere in the states, and a cop just shoots him down with a sniper without any reasoning other than the guy had heroin, the cop would go to jail for murder.
Well, if the system weren’t complete corrupt that is.

How often are the terms of service evident at the time of purchase? It’s unreasonable to assume at the checkout that the price is only for a limited time of use. I doubt the put it on the box or on the Amazon page when you purchased stuff like this. Are you supposed to buy it and then return it after reading the fine print in the instruction booklet after opening it up?

I mean, even if chat GPT uses the referenced maximum of 40 Wh and OP did one query per day for 31 days, that would be the equivalent energy usage of leaving a 40W light bulb on for a little over a day, 31 hours, no?
I don’t see how that’s enough energy equivalent to burning down 4 trees as previous commenter stated.
It’s not good, but I don’t see it as unfathomably wasteful.

I wonder about the costs though.
If you can just have a plate on the ground instead of a interface and cord perhaps it might be useful in parking lots, where EVs can just park and charge while they shop without having the have the space requirements of the charging infrastructure.
I can guarantee you that I hope BC taxes the shit out of any oil that goes through our pipelines from Alberta to the coast
