Going public is usually bad for product quality and consumer oriented business models.
I meant it the other way around. No matter how benevolent a dictatorship is, eventually the dictator will change and you better hope there will be another benevolent one.
I personally don’t think the problem is doing business. I think the problem is businesses not being democratic.
Valve good.
But valve company. Company bad.
But valve company do good thing.
But selfish reason.
But good outcome.
But what if no GabeN.
We pray.
Thanks for answering. That was after me first trying out Linux and before me returning to Linux.
That’s some bullshit but damn does the Linux community hold grudges like they always have.
Thanks for the reply! Amazon stuff? I’m so out of the loop it seems.
Hey I haven’t heard of this.
So this is mint based on Debian directly instead of ubuntu?
I found the distro really doesn’t matter much anymore for gaming specifically. You’ll install the same or similar tools for gaming no matter if using Arch, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian etc.
For gaming it sometimes can be useful to have more current Software especially if playing new games since issues might only be fixed on the latest version.
But aside from that one part I think you should go with the distro you generally prefer and game on that.
Absolutely love this game. The charm and animations, deep building and physics, and chemistry I guess.
I guess it’ll eat up another weekend or two of my life with this update.
I actually don’t tell people about it unless they ask for some reason or it comes up. Which as you can imagine rarely happens.
Funny side effect is I had many people use my PC quickly for things. Noone ever comments on things looking different. Do they not notice? Do they not care? I don’t know. Maybe it’s so superior it’s beyond their comprehension.
Nvidia User? It happens to me too every so often on kernel updates. I usually just tell grub to boot the old Kernel Version for a few days until driver updates etc. come in. Then everything is back to working again with the newest kernel.
That might be true. I’m glad you can set your own defaults but having the starting fknfkg to be a generally useful one is a good idea. Im curious if people find Local to be a good default? Subscribed doesn’t make sense I guess because you start out with no subscriptions. But maybe all is nice to find new communities and explore?
This release seems really solid. Good timing to hit a lot of good software releases. Makes me want to finally try out Debian. I’m a big fan of ‘it just works’ experiences if possible so I might be the target audience.
But I’m very happy with Fedora for quite a while now. I’m still amazed how stable it is even with very frequent updates as well as very current software overall. So it would just be switching for the sake of doing it and I try not to do that anymore.
True but it helps get the concept across so much.
