I did. That’s why I deleted it but I guess that didn’t federate to your instance as fast as my fuckup

Disclaimer for OP : IIRC it also takes quite a long time to test large amounts of RAM
Also it’s not like windows doesn’t routinely “forgets” these settings with updates. Or harasses you to opt in again with every update, in the hopes that one day you’ll let it slip
Oh so they’re just doing whatever Firefox is doing in private mode on Android that makes screenshots all black
Also France has 4 nuclear-powered ICBM launcher subs. Even if article 5 doesn’t happen it can independently decide to kickstart the apocalypse
Are you running Steam big picture by any chance ? For some reason without hardware acceleration (off by default !) it has terrible performances on my RTX 3080 Ti (pop!_os, drivers 575) and affects the whole system.
Cyberpunk moment
I think Brelok is the one that did the eating here
YouTube does a shit ton of A/B testing so they probably didn’t roll that change out to everyone yet. I currently don’t have any issues either but they will eventually hit us with that shit.
Yeah I currently have Linux and windows sharing my only nvme drive because I wanted to use the fastest drive for the OS but clearly it’s causing issues. So I just bought a cheaper one that I will dedicate to windows, along with a sata SSD.
Do you think I can get away with just wiping the partitioned drive and reinstalling both OS, keeping their data drives as is, since they are already each entirely dedicated to one OS ? Or should I do a full clean ?
Just in time for my new nvme drive so I can fully segregate windows and Linux after that mf broke my install again
Yeah and iirc there have been some acts of sabotage in Russia that could have been carried out by actual insurgents, but as far as we know this one was Ukrainian special forces
Yeah my boomer dad (materials scientist in the civilian nuclear sector) disagrees. He’s been working from home (and from vacations sometimes…) at least a few days a week for quite a while now, and his old boss was apparently saying that they were going to need to hire 3 people to replace him when he eventually retires.
FWIW I also know some elder millennials who are against it, but I’ve seen how they run their business and let’s just say I wouldn’t take advice from them.
Maybe it’s just like a memory foam mattress after a while
It’s all fun and games until the bears show up
CMS is arguably worse than AZERTY. Or maybe l’m just too used to AZERTY…
French here, after having to buy a Canadian laptop I can confirm I didn’t go back to the french layout. Also the “english (Canada)” locale usually has sane regionalization options (like DD/MM date and distance in meters or kilometers, celsius temperature…) compared to the other English ones
Insurgency : Sandstorm
I think it requires steam but iirc there are community servers so maybe there are non-vac servers (which shouldn’t require steam)
