Instead of the usual LSD color shift and rhythmic “breathing” of the room, the visuals were more geometric and I didn’t have the same mental clarity. I got a nonstop stream of thoughts that would interrupt my ability to follow where the thought was going.

On top of all the other visual noise it was like my peripherals had a colored plastic overlaying what I was seeing, so it would appear more green sometimes and red other times.

I wouldn’t recommend it. The experience may be completely different from mine because mine was LSD, NBOMe, and a synthetic psilocybin analogue, but sticking with either LSD or psilocybin is way better. Each drug has its own side effects that are manageable by themselves but make it really uncomfortable when they stack. I remember being itchy, thirsty, and kept swapping from being too hot and too cold. I had energy but was couch locked. I wanted to talk to my brother and room mates but when I tried to communicate, new thoughts just kept coming in and I’d forget what I was trying to say halfway through a thought. It was very frustrating.

Yes you can reuse retired characters later, it lets you keep powering them up more over time. It’s an amazing game, glad to see it getting some love here

It really is wild how a company can be so massive yet unable to do basic UI. I got a notification that someone replied to a YouTube comment I made so I clicked the notification and it opened up YouTube’s landing page. I tried to find notifications and couldn’t so instead I tried to find a page that has my comment history.

I had to look it up and apparently you can’t even find it on YouTube, you have to go to a separate website, my activity.google.com.

I wish there was a feature like this on YouTube. I’d love a profile for watching educational videos, a profile for feeding me cool videos when I’m high, and a profile for when my kids want to watch stuff. I’m tired of vibing and listening to music videos only to get hit with a language learning podcast or Disney songs.

It seems like they control enough of the government to get agents that would be willing to delete it modify evidence, I’m just not sure what controls are in place to ensure that nothing has been tampered with

The video in the linked article does just that. The page takes 5 seconds to load the video, the user changes the UA, they refresh the page and suddenly the video loads instantly. I would have liked to see them change the UA back to Firefox to prove it’s not some weird caching issue though

Yep. I use a piece of software that lets me drag components onto a stage and will auto generate code in the back end. We can then add our own code to customize the components.

I ran into a super cryptic error message while working on a time sensitive project and I was ripping my hair out trying to figure out what the hell was wrong. Turns out someone had pasted some code in from an email and the custom code editor displays the straight quotes and angles quotes exactly the same but the back end code generation fortunately displays them differently. The program didn’t like the character set for the quotes used in Outlook but didn’t give me the proper line number, the error made zero sense, and looking at the code didn’t show that anything was wrong.
