I feel like I remember then announcing this like 4+ years ago? I mean good it finally released, I’m just shocked how long it took
I don’t mind having downloaded digital copies. I have a Plex server of stuff too. But sometimes it’s just easier to just buy a disk rather than find a safe/working torrent just to get it digitally
I am disappointed it feels like physical media is slowly going away though. It’s not only nice to have a physical collection in my opinion, but it directly supports the stuff you like, and you don’t have to deal with the bs that comes with digital “ownership” or the ever changing mess that are streaming services.
Oh cool, good to see the power button is still on the other side of the fucking menu. You know, the thing that I’m clicking on 90% of the time I’m opening the Start Menu? Why have that easily reachable like in past versions of Windows? Silly me I guess.
Yeah same. I have plenty of WD Black HDDs and SSD’s and never once had issues with any of them. Am I out of the loop?
And burns through twice as much energy!
I’m still curious to see if they go through with the rumors that it’ll be subscription based. Honestly kinda dead in the water for me versus just a watch if so
Still really curious to find out if the rumors of it being a battery hog are true. I was set on finally upgrading my Note 20 Ultra to an S25 Ultra, but not if battery life is a mess
It feels almost a guarantee they’re gonna do something stupid to ruin it somehow, don’t you worry about that
What annoys me is that Google still hasn’t opened the API for RCS all these years later. That could at the very least open the possibility of more widespread adoption as a fallback for other apps instead of SMS. But instead they’re too busy crying that Apple won’t adopt it to actually be bothered to make a unified approach on their own turf. I don’t see how they can imagine Apple will want to adopt it when they’re keeping it so close to their chests that nobody else is allowed to use it other than basically them and Samsung. It’s maddening.
Words cannot describe how much I hate that quick settings panel. One UI was supposed to be about reachability with how big phones are getting these days. Instead they used the whole screen this go around. Hope Good Lock will let me change it back eventually
