Exactly. I couldn’t care less about Newsom as a person. And if literally any Democrat started fighting back I would support them. It’s such an easy strategy to win that I’m absolutely baffled by how cowardly Democratic politicians have been.

Google getting rid of all the things that made people want an android phone over an iPhone.
Imagine bribing politicians to get tax breaks as those same politicians start to take more of a cut than the other side would have taxed you. I’m starting to think everyone that is rich and powerful are also incredibly stupid.
Just downloaded it. Thanks my guy.
Already got it downloaded. It’s only like 100 - 150 gigabytes or something like that. Got it on my PC, my laptop, and my external hard drive. I don’t trust the powers that be to keep it intact anymore so I’d rather have my own copy, even if outdated.
I like how every company is pushing to replace programmers with AI yet it can’t even do the job of a receptionist.
Yet they got rid of pretty much all the cases against subscriptions and not having “one click cancellation” that the precious FTC was going after. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Sounds to me like those fossil fuel companies are using those new subsidies from the Trump regime to bribe other companies into switching. And since most tech companies only think of short term profit they’re totally down to go with the option that gives them a discount. Tech companies get cheaper energy while the fossil fuel companies get to make more companies dependent on their product for longer. In the short term, these tech companies will make truckloads of money. But in the long term, not updating the infrastructure to the modern age and actually going backward will only doom them, especially on the global market.
Wow, someone that is actually acting like a world leader instead of just bending over in advance and making a fool out of themselves.
Watching people like Keir Starmer around Trump is painful and I hope he loses sleep over how much of an embarrassment he is. And if I remember correctly, Starmer literally bent over for him at the G7 summit. Or when Starmer was talking during Trump’s visit last week and Trump literally said “enough” while he was talking and Starmer just shut up.
Edit: I was wrong about the second one. Apparently it was back in February and in context it was actually addressed towards the reporter that asked a question and not Starmer. See? Propaganda works both ways. :)
That’s not what the data said back in March. I highly doubt it’s gotten better.
They’ve been conditioned over the decades to consider them to be subhuman. I’m not saying that they are innocent, just that this is what they believe. Their propaganda is so effective that they no longer feel remorse for killing them as they see them as savages or monsters. In fact, they see themselves as the heroes of the story. And with every western country backing them up and giving them more weapons, what else would they think?
Yeah, and the man probably doesn’t even know what a satellite even looks like outside of stock photos and TV.
They are so desperate to push this and it’s pretty obvious why. Companies have dumped hundreds of millions of dollars into AI like it was going to revolutionize literally everything and are now forcing it on people to make up for the fact that they were wrong. Don’t get me wrong, AI has its uses, but their whole “solution for everything” mentality is really starting to backfire and they are just trying to make a profit off their investments. Basically “we spent way more money on this than we should have so you better use it or else.”
Edit: In addition, every company is trying to be the one that’s on top when the bubble pops which is only making it bigger and last longer which will only make it worse when it does actually pop. It’s a problem they created and are sustaining themselves, and if they back out now it could be just as catastrophic as letting the bubble pop.
You could just say you took them down but not actually do it. Not like he can just go to space and check. And even if you publish the data it’s not like he’s smart enough to realize it’s still there and he’ll probably just blame China or some shit. 90% of what this man says is just to make his base happy even if nothing happens.
And as soon as that happens, I’m out. I’d rather just opt out of the modern internet. I already have to deal with my information getting leaked from various different services at least once every couple years it seems. I can change a credit card or a password, I can’t change my ID.
I remember last year when people were saying that Gaza will be ignored until it’s too big to ignore. I remember because I was one of those people. They’re doing this because they knew it was wrong to begin with but are now trying to save face and say “See? We were the good guys the whole time!” Do not let them forget that they let this happen when they could have stopped it at any time.
By the way, I’m not throwing shade towards Canada specifically. This was the stance of pretty much every western country and they are all guilty.
It’s just generational trauma. Both have grown up with parents or grandparents that have suffered to the other and think they are inherently evil. It’s not like it’s the first time Israel has done evil things to them and it’s not like it’s the first time Israel has wanted revenge for the evil things that have been done to them.
The reason why people always emphasize that revenge is never good and that “violence isn’t the answer” is because this is literally the worst case scenario outcome of said violence. An endless cycle of hate and violence that can lead to so much dehumanization that they barely even consider them people. And if you don’t even consider them people anymore you might as well get rid of them so you can use the land and resources. If you look at any genocide a very common theme is that it’s always about superiority and how the people being killed are subhuman.
Have never liked the guy, but yeah pretty much. Committing genocide is something that will be held over their heads long after all of us are dead. Kids in school will learn about the Holocaust and will have to have an asterisk next to it saying “yeah, and then they decided to do it to someone else 80 years later.” It’s just generational hate perpetuating cruelty. In about a hundred years Palestinians will want revenge after growing up and being taught to hate the people that did this to them.
This needs to fucking stop. Every single day people get killed as they try to get food while the western world is arresting people that say they don’t want to see them die anymore. All the while governments around the world are looking into this issue with the same urgency and determination as deciding on a national bird.
Most people in the real world outside of the internet didn’t even know who this guy was until yesterday, especially outside the US. When I was talking to my roommate after it happened the first thing he said was “who’s Charlie Kirk?”
