Lol IT person here, so many developers barely know how to turn there machine on

I’m not a saying I have none, but, I definitely don’t have the issues I used to. I’ve been able to install a couple distros more recently with basically no problems. I’m also installing on laptops so that could be a difference, standard hardware configs. Also the equipment I install on is older equipment because I’m poor so I’m sure that is probably working in my favor.

I use foldersync to SFTP back up my phone. But obsidian is great

I’m always blown away by the number of issues people have. I mean, I get it’s Fedora, but, on my systems nowadays I really don’t have issues anymore. I’ve thought most of these issues have been eradicated. Maybe I’m just lucky, idk.

There could be an issue with those things. You could try using a different USB stick to eliminate the stick, different USB port etc maybe try a disc instead of a USB stick if possible

Could be ram, could be bad USB stick. I9 processors apparently have an issue if that’s what’s being run

The problem is I’m prone to accidents so my non dominant and has scars from cutting myself.

I’ve done so much work with my hands. I thought something was wrong with my phone, my partner walked up finger on phone, opens immediately. Me, half the time I need to use the code because the fingerprint doesn’t work.

I think if lemmy disappears I’m going to give up on the internet. Basically just use it for the necessary things that I need it for.

I think it’s a registry modification, but, I’ve seen windows start to ignore modifications to the registry so idk.
