AngryCommieKender is mostly right. It would delete every file and directory in your home directory, which is the Linux equivalent of the Users/<username> folder on Windows. It’s where all of your Documents, Pictures, Downloads, config files, and the likes are stored.

I’m not sure it’s a protected action, since it’s not the actual root of the computer. But, I’ve never tried, so I don’t know :P

Doing nothing is way better than running random commands suggested by AI, or anyone for that matter, if you don’t know what it does. I’ve seen AI suggest to run rm -rf ~/, which is obviously never a good idea.

I’ve seen way too many tutorials that are trying to teach JavaScript, and mixing up JavaScript with Java… Saying that Java is just another, shorter, name for JavaScript.

I’m also a big fan of the open web. It’s good that people can post without needing a big publisher or newspaper to back them. But there are definite drawbacks as well. It can be very hard for someone who is trying to learn basic concepts, to know who actually knows what they’re talking about, since anyone can post anything.

I use i3. Pretty bare bones, so it took me a while to get productive with it. But it’s all exactly how I want it, it’s all mine.
