Pretty much all successful companies are like that. Because that’s the system they want, and they’ve tricked the general populace into believe that’s a good thing.
If all those downloads were from 2005 to 2015, and there’s only been a few hundred in the last nine years, that would mean the popularity has declined.
But we don’t know that. We don’t know if the downloads have increased, decreased, or stayed the same based on the proffered numbers. We only know a flat number from the last twenty years.
Thats the point theyre making, not that its unequivocally unpopular now.
Also you’re about three billion shy of one download for everyone on earth.
Could just stick a physical note like that in their notebook, too.
Seems like an edge case, and not something that would be an issue in 99.99% (repeating, of course) of cases.

For people who apparently want to disconnect, they sure seem to obsess about it a lot.
It’s like all the people from Team Fortress communities that constantly talk about Overwatch, while the Overwatch communities just kind of… exist.

And increasingly a smaller and smaller portion of the overall composition of the truck.
It just means even more weight is on the front tires instead of being more evenly distributed.
I think the cybertruck is super heavy, though.
For how much “value” it provides (shareholders) they seem very keen on squeezing even more out of it. Why should we make their job easier? They certainly don’t make their content creators jobs easier.
They also go down the hole faster once someone with looser ethics takes control.
It’s the paradox of the benevolent dictator, sure they can provide fantastic and quick service to their subjects… but as soon as the ruler is no longer benevolent, it’s just a dictatorship.
They can also make decisions that they say are good for consumers, but are just thinly veiled ways to squeeze more money out of them.
