Lol so he had to get an iPhone for family chat, then I’ll bet still had to install WhatsApp for all his friend’s group chats.
The strangest thing was when I learned that American teenagers bully the ones who have Android because they mess up with the iMessage chats. So weird.
FTFY. In the rest of the world no one uses either SMS or iMessage.
Soulseek is my past, present and future.
UK is the same shit offer. £100 play credit
It’s just about usability. Top of phones are hard to reach nowadays, so the more UI elements that are towards the bottom the better!

Trying to buy a smallish TV recently for my bedroom and most were hdready ballshit
I prefer gestures. But if you like buttons just go to settings and turn them on.
True. But the for the last part, but the argument for RCS is the same. But more so. You’d know you could just message them using it and you wouldn’t need to know if they were using WhatsApp discord. No matter what their phone would have RCS, or would fall back to SMS.
Boox run android, so that might fit your title.
From your post content though it actually sounds like you’d be happy with a Kobo. You can easily transfer books and you can install third party open source reading software too.
RCS done properly would be nice. I’d very much like to not be sending my messages through meta. Google’s implementation, however, just trades one American giant for another.
Yeah. I don’t really think it’s better either. I just think it’ll fall flat on its face like Google’s many many previous attempts at messaging unless they actually tell people it exists.
That’s nice. But without some serious marketing they won’t get people off of WhatsApp in Europe.
