Yes, but you can’t write snappy fast software in any language, high level languages like python, lua and php carry alot of overhead from the get go, because of dynamic typing, heavy abstractions, and heavy garbage collectors.

If malicious bot traffic came-out of Yandex’s data centers, its legitimated traffic would be blocked everywhere and yandex wouldn’t have been able to operate such a successful business. There are hundred’s of services that track illegitimate and dangerous bot traffic, such databases are use to block malicious crawlers, bot nets, spam bots, email spams, phishing websites, websites distributing viruses … Yandex can’t afford to allow such activities from its networks.

Just because Ukraine is the victim it doesn’t mean we should spread fake news propaganda. They failed to produce any tangible evidence, and after many sources started debunking the claims and proving the base material to be AI generated. they brought in Zelensky to give it more credibility. it is disheartening to see such fake news rise at the forefront of social media sites. and be upvoted by the masses that on other occasions were championing the fight against fake news. But as long as it fits their narratives, it is good to pass.

My dad listens to AI generated stories. I still don’t know if he realizes they are Fictional AI stories, or if this is his way of killing time by this instead of listening to audio books. I guess audiobooks take commitment

Yeah. It started a long time before Kupiansk. especially when russia’s advances pickup steam 2024-2025. this year russia is struggling to advance. and even struggling to surround Kostiantinivka which is a key battle ground city. The situation is very confusing as to why the the frontline is frozen. Russia is either panicking or blindly following on plan’s made years in advance.

And they choice was always to let them be encircled and let them fight to the last one. It’s been seen in Avdivka and many other cities

Having a tendency to always read sentences in halves. I went straight into clicking the article, I was shocked at how very little remains on the bones of those men at was very disgusted at how Russia is torturing its prisoners.

I started reading the article from the bottom. and that testimony of the woman who said that since the news went public, her husband wrote wrote to her reassuring her that they have started receiving more food, this confused me cause since when did Ukrainian prisoners in Russia get to write back to their families.

I went up the article, and that’s when I truly was shocked to discover that these men were not uks prisoners in Russia but Ukrainian combatants in the front line who haven’t eaten for 17 days. I can’t even imagine going for 5 days without food let alone 17 days. and that this is all done to them by their own commanders forcing them to defend slivers of land with zero regard to their condition. contrast that with the hundred of thousands of young Ukrainian men who fled the country because they had the means to bribe to escape. I don’t blame those who are doing their best to dodge the draft in such an unfair regime.

Look at the recent surge in win7 pcs, that no economical data can back up, if you look at win7 stats of some countries you will find some weird spikes that died out this last month. why go from an os that has lost security updates to an older os that today’s software can’t run on anymore

I am kinda a big hater on AI and what danger it represents to the future of humanity

But. as a hobby programmer, I was surprised at how good these llms can answer very technical questions and provide conceptual insight and suggestions about how to glue different pieces of software together and which are the limitations of each one. I know that if AI knows about this stuff it must have been produced by a human. but considering the shitty state of the internet where copycat website are competing to outrank each other with garbage blocks of text that never answer what you are looking for. the honest blog post is instead burried at the 99 page in google search. I can’t see how old school search will win over.

Add to that I have found forums and platforms like stack overflow to be not always very helpful, I have many unanswered questions on stackoverflow piled-up over many years ago. things that llms can answer in details in just seconds without ever being annoyed at me or passing passive aggressive comments.

Maybe you should curb your enthusiasm a bit. have you seen what it take to unlock the bootloader from most manufacturers? you might even need your grandma’s birth certificate before you’re allowed to do so in the future
