What if there’s something else blasting lots of signal around the same frequency of Bluetooth (2.5mHz?) trying to pair with another device? I don’t know why else your Bluetooth buds would be skipping at such a precise interval, as I think that they would have some variation in the amount buffered depending on how much data per second is being transmitted

That’s incredibly odd. Do you know where the Bluetooth antenna of your PC is? Maybe it’s getting some signal blocking from a metal component that is between the antenna and the amp? That’s the only other idea I have, because I seen to recall something about Bluetooth having this tendency to “accumulate” errors until it just skips to try and catch up after it got too many bad signals, but I can’t guarantee this is just some slop my brain came up on it’s own trying to figure out your issue

I’ve had this issue with my old Bluetooth buds because their batteries were dying. My new buds don’t have any issues and it’s on the same 2010 laptop running mint with the same Bluetooth adapter, maybe that’s what’s happening to you?
Be the change you want to see in the world

I see, that’s very good to know!! Thank you!!

Samsung is in my shitlist for their horrible shady business with their smartphones, but even tho I want to never buy anything Samsung again I still think their m.2 SSDs are really good, did something happen with that division that showed it’s also shitty? I want to know and hate even more on Samsung
Story why I hate Samsung (was too long to put in the middle): bought a s21 fe thinking I’m getting a snapdragon processor, they hid never mentioned anywhere in the page that this specific model has their piece of shit exynos processor that literally struggles to run anything, overheats if it isn’t on battery saving mode and goes through the battery like it’s on sale

Linux isn’t for everyone, this isn’t a false statement, it’s 100% true. I consider myself more tech savvy than the general population and I have had to do a LOT of troubleshooting on every Linux install I tried, for things that should have just worked out of the box, and I needed help from friends who are much more tech savvy (people who deal with servers for a living and their hobbies are setting up NAS servers and messing with tech in general) and they all had some trouble with some issues I was having, like for example a Bluetooth USB adapter not working that on windows was just plug and play, and it turned out that the GUI that came with mint just didn’t actually change any settings, and I had to go to the terminal and type the commands to directly control the Bluetooth stuff. I can deal with all of these and other issues, but my dad who has to be reminded how to download a picture from whatsapp on his laptop to send through his email could never deal with Linux, something would pop up every single day and he would need someone to help him. Hell, I installed libre office for him to use and he kept having issues with it, his documents wouldn’t show up, they would not be saved properly or where he wanted, would lag a lot, updates would be super slow and that’s ignoring stuff like the GUI differences that made him constantly have to stop and search for what he wanted. I ended up installing office and cracking it for him to be able to keep messing with his text documents and excel sheets
If Linux is to become the OS for everyone, it needs to become much more foolproof, and currently it is not that

Good news! Brazil developed a single dose vaccine against dengue!! I don’t know when they’re going to start vaccinating, but the vaccine has been approved, it’s already tested and everything!

Wouldn’t it be easier to clone your partition to another SSD but have it already be the full SSD size? I remember looking into something like that and cloning looked easier, but I was looking through the windows side, Linux probably has various ways to do it

They don’t have to redesign an entire car, just the internal parts of a door that are related to a handle, that in the past they made work mechanically btw, so no, 2 years is more than enough to redesign and start implementing it

The article updated since they posted, now there’s even the length of the sentence, 27 years and some odd months

If you’re afraid you’ll be unable to put her to sleep when she needs, one thing I’ve learned is that having another pet helps, it’s not substituting them, it’s having someone else to keep company when they’re gone. When I put my older dog to sleep, the one year old mut, I hugged her so much and I cried into her fur a lot, but she helped me through the pain and kept me going because I still had to take care of her

The thing is, sometimes you need Microsoft not of your own volition but because of bureaucracy. When I was signing a contract recently, the government required me to fill in a office word document and it would not work at all on libre, I had to scramble around the house, went through 3 different computers trying to get any of them to have office working after I just recently uninstalled it from all of them to use libre only, but in the end I had to use a university computer to fill in the doc.

Lidar is one of the things it needs, but even when they properly see what’s ahead they don’t interpret it correctly and don’t take the correct actions, it’s bigger than just lidar, which is honestly terrifying

It’s so freaking annoying that these anti cheats don’t ever work with Linux… I wonder if steam did their own anti cheat that worked for Linux they could get those games to run on it, but it’s a pipedream, it’s too complex and it’s much better to keep the Linux portion of the market growing through making it more accessible to normal users and then getting the anti cheat companies interested in making a version for Linux instead

Just out of curiosity, what games do you need a windows machine to play that proton can’t make work on Linux?
And make it the responsibility of the car manufacturers if the touchscreen is used, because they clearly induced the accident, that would quickly make them stop making touch screens be needed for things you should not look away while driving

Here’s a video of someone just playing rise, you can clearly see how low definition the models, map and textures are. Link to the reddit post since I can’t upload the video
But here’s a more direct comparison between the model of rathalos on monster hunter world vs monster hunter rise (I couldn’t upload the image for some reason so here’s the link to the reddit post)
Because the EU is also trying to get it’s own age verification AND they can and have been influenced by policies from the USA as well as manipulated by the same corporations and billionaires that are getting these laws passed not only in USA states but also in other countries as well. This threat was already beyond the borders of the USA and everyone needs to take it’s threat very seriously
