I think it’s hilarious all these people waiting for these LLMs to somehow become AGI. Not a single one of these large language models are ever going to come anywhere near becoming artificial general intelligence.

An artificial general intelligence would require logic processing, which LLMs do not have. They are a mouth without a brain. They do not think about the question you put into them and consider what the answer might be. When you enter a query into ChatGPT or Claude or grok, they don’t analyze your question and make an informed decision on what the best answer is for it. Instead several complex algorithms use huge amounts of processing power to comb through the acres of data they have in their memory to find the words that fit together the best to create a plausible answer for you. This is why the daydreams happen.

If you want an example to show you exactly how stupid they are, you should watch Gotham Chess play a chess game against them.

I think you’ve hit it on the nose right here. Especially since this declining viewership problem has been hitting channels across all of YouTube and it has only been since they started their crusade against ad blockers.

You really don’t understand how nuclear weapons work and how absolutely devastating their fallout actually is. Its not a movie or video game where a few survive in underground bunkers and the rest just “mutate”. The fallout from a total nuclear war would wipe out every human life in a couple of decades either through extreme radioactive poisoning or through extreme famine from the irradiation of any and all arable land… Bacteria and tardigrades might survive. Sure as shit nothing else will.

This isn’t even remotely true. Extreme freezes and droughts will destroy crop growth and livestock across the globe. Mass starvation will be inevitable and the ones who will starve won’t be the descendants of the people getting rich off of destroying the climate today. It’ll be your grandkids (or nieces and nephews).

They can try… Wikipedia has been bolstering themselves against this exact kind of attack for many years. They’ve made the entirety of the site completely downloadable for literally anyone to make and keep a copy and lots of people do (though the more the better).

The Wikimedia corporation that runs the actual site may have to ensure that it’s incorporated in a different country though.
