This was me a few months ago when I started seeing ads in start menu. I love Linux and use it for work but was worried about things like VRR, scaling, HDR support, periperhal support etc. While a lot of those things are still a WIP I have had no major issues (except occasional anticheat borked but even then rarely).
I ended up going bazzite and I’m really liking it. What distro you go with OP?
You can do this with steam tinker launcher. I used that to run monster hunter world plus hunterpie at the same time.
So… Not really OC like title suggests… It is more accurate than using old laptop as a music player tho, lol

Truenas scale with truecharts makes all this fairly easy to get going. You don’t even really need to understand kubernetes all that well. I use traefik for ingress and just set up a bunch of dns aliases so I don’t have to remember port numbers
I always thought it was user and never questioned it. Yeah man there’s shared libraries in there for all the users, so it’s user. This makes more sense now.
