China has the luxury of being a totalitarian state. Xi does not need to worry about upcoming elections. Unfortunately in Europe any moves that requires great sacrifice might be political suicide.

I am assuming undetectable waves. That is the enemy won’t know where the waves are being fired from or even that they are being fired at all.
Yes but they need to obey Turkish law if they want to offer their services there. Like how US websites have to show a “cookies” disclaimer within the EU due to EU privacy laws.
Eh as much as I would like it to be true, I would take the word of captured enemy combatants with a grain of salt.
Well as a company bluesky, would need to abide by the laws of where it is offering it’s services.
They can’t just ignore the request of the country’s government. They could either challenge it in court or stop offering their services altogether.
I think they hate “the west” in general as the population can criticize and pressure those in power. Whereas dictatorships have unquestioned control.
In this case they should have been using government systems for internal transparency and opsec.
Ironically this scandal was caused by fools
Frankly I think Trump sees western nations not led by dictators as threats.
There are people who use tesla parts to make electric car conversions
I can already guess the excuse: “Europe started the war by not negotiating a peace deal with Russia when it came to Ukraine.”

We are living in times where countries are doing or threatening land grabs even to their supposed allies. I think this is a preemptive message of don’t fuck with.
Ofcourse! A convicted pedophile is a convicted pedophile until proven innocent.
With a life sentence you can at least get some of your life back if proven innocent. With the death penalty not so much.
It is not the severity of the crimes but the risk of executing innocents. A person could be a convicted pedophile but new evidence might reveal that they were innocent.
I might have worded my comment poorly. I did not mean to insinuate that it was “safer” but that there is more variety. That is, it is easier to find 18th century toaster porn today than back in the 2000s.
The porn landscape has changed quite a bit since the 2000s:
Mind you I am not saying that porn should be outright banned but there should be barriers in place. Example porn can only use the domain “xxx” so parents can add the filter to the parenting controls of whatever devices. Sure there are ways to circumvent that but it at least takes more effort.
But wouldn’t them buying all the rights to “basically everything” incentivise them more to jack up prices and include ads since the user base has no legal alternatives ?
Kind of reads like ASUS
When considering new customers or those who, for example, have irreparably damaged their Fairphone, it’s important to recognize that selling a three-year-old device as new may not be appealing to them. Additionally, many people today rely on their phones as their primary computer and therefore require the performance necessary to handle a variety of tasks.
