Ok. Playing Lake I noticed that the initially set graphics of high do sometimes cause stutters, so perhaps I should be scaling those down.

I have no answer sadly but rather a similar question: are the default graphics settings on startup via the Steamdeck adjusted to the Steamdeck?
I feel the Skyrim purchase. I have about 4 or 5 different versions - all the different platforms it’s been released on!
I got Lake and The Long Dark, both of which had been on my wishlist.
Oh gotta try that on the deck!
No thanks
Who in their right mind has looked at Twitter these past few months and thought ‘wow, great, let me copy that!’?
Also chiming in to suggest Memmy (which it seems like you’ve used already).
Within the last week alone there have been some quite significant QoL updates and I’m happy testing it further.
Yet another platform to boycott? Excellent!
Some people used a script that edited all their comments to forward to a new instance (in this case it could forward to Lemmy). Perhaps that would be a solution?
For what it’s worth, there is an issue on staying on the same instance when clicking on a different instance’s community and dessalines agreed with the concept, so we might be seeing a change there soon.
I’m at a point where even if I could use third party apps again I wouldn’t return to Reddit. Don’t want to support a guy like spez.
That’s why I used shreddit to delete all my posts and comments on Reddit. It’s not much, but if everyone does it Reddit will feel the repercussions. They won’t benefit from my content anymore.
As soon as you have to explain the fediverse to someone using analogies my experience is that most people have already given up. They just can’t be bothered to learn something new.
Thanks for the explanation! I will adjust my settings! :)
