  • I literally cannot think of a single way that it is better.

Its an ethnostate committing genocides in its own soil, a religious theocracy that destroys ancient temples, an aggressive expansionist military state with constant highly funded and organized propoganda, it bullies and destroys ships fo being close to their favorite spots in the wide ocean, and a single party with president for life dictatorship. They’ve got a massive and increasing homeless population because the government gets to decide where they “live”. They do pretty good on pollutions per capita but now they’re trying to grow their capita again. The use financial coercion and manipulate markets at every opportunity even going so far as to mass produce products at a loss in order to push others out of markets. The fund fucking Iran and the Taliban to wage proxy war, and are as active in South America as the CIA ever was.

And thats only the recent shit they’ve done, the same party has been in power since Mao fucking Zedong was starving tens of millions of people for literally no reason.

And, you can even blame the current turn for the worst that the USA is going through on them because they explicitly endorsed Trump and spread promotion of him through TikTok in a bid to save their psyop from being banned.

  • By definitions of words capitalism and communism are not conflicting ideologies unless applied to the extreme.

    The dictionaries tell us this:

Capitalism means private ownership of production of goods and services.

Communism means worker owned production of goods and services.

Obviously you could argue that all Capitalism is Laissez Faire and that all communism is some abominable mix of Marxism and somehow dictatorship, but then we have no terms to describe the 99% of industries that fall anywhere in the middle as anything except “market system.”

  • Communism is an economic and political ideology of “workers owning the rights and means to productions” as opposed to investors and upper management not specifically beholden to those workers, so yes publicly owned services and also cooperatives are “communism”.

That’s not to say that communism is in any way a solution to the problems of greed or corruption, though, because centralized authorities managing those public goods and services can be as bad or even worse than a monopoly.

My stance is plainly that communism or capitalism is a pointless discussion to even have on the topics of inequality, civil rights, or wealth concentration because it makes no difference compared to the discussion of democracy vs antidemocratic ideologies like fascism or tankies.
