meh. i’d argue that’s wild hysteria because if these things seriously had that problem there’d be thousands of lawsuits, class actions, recalls, etc. strict product liability is strict for a reason and all that.

also the battery health feature isn’t bad per se. it helps prolong battery life and most phones should use it in some form. i think it’s wild on pixel9+ you’re forced to use it though, although i also don’t see dev tools / patches won’t allow more knowledgeable users to turn it off

i got a used 7a in 2023 that i threw graphene on. i love this phone and am set til 2028-2030, at least.

that’s the piracy sub… the userbase was pissed at the idiot mods taking the sub down for the API protest, which reddit was obviously super happy about the pirate sub closing down.

i’m pretty sure they regularly railed against the idiot mods to the point that the mods said fuck this and left

mostly from different subreddits i follow. others are record companies, and youtube channels like audiotree, kexp, tiny desk

just as a heads up i did the workaround linked in OP’s post and it worked for me
