31·2 months agoAs noted in the link provided by Nougat, the title of this post is completely inaccurate. YouTube is banning instructional videos on how to make guns full auto, homemade silencers, ghost guns, etc, and links to websites where you can buy them or the parts to do it.
Once again, in the case of the linked video, this is just hyped-up nonsense by irresponsible gun owners.

Personally, I use Chrome because it and Edge are the only browsers installed on my work PC.
At home, it’s either Safari on my Mac or TOR on my Linux box with a VPN.
My dude. All the feels right here.
This is why I use Linux at home, along with TOR and a VPN. I’m not doing anything other than looking up woodworking and camping stuff, but fuck all ya’ll for being nosy.

There’s a kind of ad-hoc, portable wifi system in Cuba like this, I believe. I might be thinking of something else though.
1·1 year agoI use Safari on my Mac, and Google is just about as bad.
If I open the Gmail site on my iPhone in Safari, I have to click past a giant “INSTALL GMAIL APP” button to get to the teeny-tiny (no thanks, continue on mobile web) link.
That said, I use Chrome on my Windows PC and Edge is frickin’ annoying. It’s like when you go to a car lot just to look, and the doofus in khakis and a polo won’t let you walk around in peace.
For what I want to do on the Internet, Lynx works just fine. If I need something fancy I’ll just us Safari on my phone.
