They just closed the issue without even acknowledging it, lol
Would it now then be possible to subscribe to a Ghost blog from here, or would some additional integration need to be made?
Curious if there’s an example of a Ghost blog interacting with the wider fediverse.
These headlines are becoming crazier at an exponential rate. I thought covid had bad ones.
This is a blast from the past
Honestly I don’t mind additional standards.
But I’m weary of: “does it really matter?”. As I’m sure just about everyone would prefer their data isn’t used, and it’s not the question that people care about.
Instead: How would anything like this be enforced, and by who?
Hmm, how would that work?
I assume if an ad is just trying to track what websites you visit often, this would not work 100% of the time, as they would still get your IP if a request went towards the advertiser, or am I misunderstanding how it works.
This is a stunning experience, and teaches you something at the same time.
Works perfectly fine on mobile, too!
Ever since advertising became extremely intrusive, it’s been game over for them. I’d rather put effort into hiding the ads (Adblocker), switching browser if necessary (Chrome v3 bs) and switching platforms (Lemmy) then seeing them again.

Didn’t we go through this already, and it just started telling fiction constantly?
Fixed! Now I noticed that the phone app doesn’t properly show the red squiggly lines 😅
It is awesome to see how the environment affects electronics, and this is a prime example of such.
It’s also funny that this is impacting speed runners lol, imagine having an advantage/disadvantage based on the age of your console.
While there’s a bunch of American technology that is awesome, it’s not worth being their ‘puppet’ due to it.
We need European centralized tech, or completely decentralized.
Ah, yes. Been a few days since the last ‘invasion threat’. Wonder when he will come back on this.
Their products require their app, would this effectively turn their devices useless when the servers die?
I know it supports a single button to start cleaning, but I wonder if that will work properly without being able to call home.
Might be time for people to look for alternatives.
Hopefully our AI overlord will be benevolent
Great! That should turning myself into a cyborg in the future all the more simple.

I stayed away from Chrome alternatives, as it had the best Canvas/HTML5 performance (Which oddly enough, was quite important for most of my browsing needs). However, this news means I will have to switch. Installed Firefox for my primary browsing needs, and a few Chromium-based ones to try out for specifically the aforementioned use case.
Fair, I was referring to the referenced issue in the comments on this post.
What was surprising to me, is that there were many comments, and mentions of devs, yet no acknowledgment or getting linked to another issue.
That is a red flag to me.
