I feel that choice paralysis a lot. My reading moods fluctuate, so sometimes I want to read one genre or sometimes another, but I also have a massive TBR so I struggle determining what book I should read. I’ve learned to just let myself start something, and if it doesn’t work out, then I can stop and maybe pick it back up later. For instance, I just finished Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence, a book that I had tried to read three times prior. This was the first time my interest stuck, and now I am finishing the trilogy. But getting over that initial hurdle of “what should I read” can be difficult.

What really irritates me is that I pay for YouTube TV because it’s the cheapest option out of all “cable-like” plans, and yet I am not allowed any benefits on actual YouTube. It’s ridiculous that I am already paying well over the premium amount so why do I have to watch more ads?

I also bet there are people who haven’t already left that will abandon ship once the TPAs stop working. It’s not going to be fun getting stuck with their mediocre app, particularly since they seem to be testing the end of the mobile site.

No, it’s actually for BTS, the kpop group. It’s their 10 year anniversary today so celebrations have been going on for the past week or so. Unfortunately, a lot of kpop-based subs are toxic due to fan wars, antis, and the parasocial (also, music subs in general snub their nose at the group because they don’t realize the lyrics are all about mental health, societal commentary, etc. and that most of the fandom are adults). All that to say, the sub I am a part of is great at moderating the negativity out and keeping it a positive, chill place of discussion.

There is only one sub I use that has not attempted to do anything about the API issue. They stickied a post forwarded to an explanation of what is happening in support of the blackout, but it is an important time period for us so no one was going to allow a full shut down. It’s one of the few non-toxic places to discuss our fandom. Beyond that sub, the others don’t matter much to me.

Not just that but the Switch has a lot of lovely indie games that are popular among women (Gris, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, Spiritfarer, Cult of the Lamb). Also Hades, but everyone likes Hades.

It sort of feels like someone should download all of reddit, pull out the actual good information, and discard the rest. That’s likely an impossible task though. It would take forever.
