Termux is already available on the Play Store, so I imagine it won’t be an issue. Sideloading will still be possible, it just requires developers give Google their private information (which is fucking stupid) but you already have to do that to be on the Play Store, so I don’t see why Google wouldn’t verify the Termux team.

As an older Gen Z, this generation is very split. The Gen Z in their twenties are extremely progressive and left-leaning, whereas younger Gen Z are deep in the alt-right pipeline. Obviously this doesn’t apply to everyone, but Gen Z really is two generations smooshed into one.

Maybe try not threatening to sue former employees when they come forward about sexual harassment

You mean like bombing hospitals and preventing aid? Oh wait, that’s Israel
If you can superimpose a blocker over real-world ads, you can superimpose ads onto plain walls too

Depends on your use case. If you’re just looking to expose services and are ok having them publicly accessible, there’s Cloudflare Tunnel, or you can run WireGuard on a cheap VPS

It’s 100% centralized, but with the ability to be decentralized. Sorta like Threads before they started federating

Idk how many truth there is to this, but I saw someone else mention that they are off-duty and hired by Tesla to just stand there in uniform

With the current US government, there’s far more roadblocks to running a company ethically than turning it to absolute shit

It makes a lot more sense when you look at it in context, particularly in regards to trans and all LGBTQ+ people. These transphobic governments consider simply existing as trans to be pornographic, so they are trying to block access to educational information on us, while also compiling a list of anyone who does. It’s the exact same shit America is trying to do with KOSA

Booleans can be true, false or maybe. Technical info: Booleans are stored as one-and-a-half bits.
A lot of work has gone into making floating point numbers efficient and they cover 99% of use cases. In the rare case you really need perfect fractional accuracy, it’s not that difficult to implement as a pair of integers.

“The whole DNS system is a complete scam” says the person advocating for crypto and NFTs

Remember when Microsoft said Windows 10 would be the last version of Windows?
I don’t think making art in the style of a copyrighted piece of work is wrong. Like writing a fanfic in an existing world (Harry Potter, LOTR, Blade Runner, etc.) isn’t copyright infringement, it’s covered by fair use. I think Alcon are suing the wrong person. A better case for copyright infringement is the AI company who trained their AI using copyrighted material that they almost certainly did not have permission to use.
I think what they’re trying to say is that if asking AI to make something in the style of Blade Runner is copyright infringement, that opens the door to asking an artist to make something in the style of Blade Runner being copyright infringement. I don’t know how I personally feel about that, but it’s at least how I interpreted the comment.

Oh, I didn’t know that started on Kickstarter
Not an exact alternative, but a lot of Youtube creators are on Nebula. It does require a subscription, but every creator is part owner of the service so your money goes directly to them.
