I’ve seen them in the wild, I live in the bay area. They look worse than in the pictures. The brushed steel catches every speck of dirt and oil. It’s like they’re driving a damn crock-pot.

On the flip side, I’ve been using FX file explorer for this for years with no issues, but my roommate on the latest iPhone (a year ago) encountered a pretty horrific oversight in the default Files app’s way to handle this (and no option to use third party apps).
Whenever she tried to copy more than 2GB from the network drive to the phone via Files, the phone would completely lock up and freeze (and stop transferring, which I confirmed by looking at read operations on the home server). She had to hard reboot and copy the files over multiple operations instead of just queuing up 50GB of audiobooks once and letting it transfer in the background. It turns out the Files app handles network assets by loading them all into RAM and then writing them to the iPhone’s NAND, and if you try to perform an operation that takes more than the phone’s current available RAM it just does the Apple equivalent of a bluescreen.
I don’t think there’s currently evidence that this new “Deck” is a Deck at all. Releasing a standing console box with the Deck’s internals but better cooling, ethernet and better wifi, HDMI/DP out, 3.5" SSD support, and SteamOS 3.5, but no screen / integrated controls / battery would make a lot of sense for Valve. And I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t probably buy one - the docked Deck has been fantastic in that role. It would probably be cheaper than the Deck since durability, battery, and screen are all likely expensive investments for them on the actual Deck.
Steam Machines failed because there wasn’t a successful base model for companies to clone, and because Big Picture mode sucked. The modern Deck UI and UX are on par with Sony/MS/Nintendo’s and you get to sell the console as “it works with the controllers you already have and the games you already bought”.
Seconding FX. It’s also got a super useful quick-share to other devices running FX.
Finally… Wii U 2.
Tears of the Kingdom and Brotato.
Edited my other comment to include the guide I found.
It was from /r/newyuzupiracy which actually got banned, it wasn’t a blackout / protest thing. Unfortunately I don’t have it cached but I can check my yuzu settings later for you.
EDIT: I found the one I used rehosted here. If you’d rather not click a link to Reddit, I’ll put the post under a spoiler here but I’m not going to go through and correct any broken formatting (or remove Reddit links):

If you don’t care about making it run better than on the Switch, you’re good. I did a little bit of hoop-jumping, following a guide that was on Reddit (and I don’t know if it’s currently visible) to get it running really well and also synchronize saves and mods to my PC.
I have not played TOTK on the Switch at all, I’ve exclusively experienced the game as a PC/Deck game and it’s a damn good one. Sometimes I think “oh this must be an emulation problem” when the game dips to 40FPS (PC) or 20FPS (Deck) while fiddling with the Ultra-Hand, but then I see my roommate do the same thing on an actual real Switch and it lags even more.
Blue Dragon on Deck would be a dream.
