global cooperation is the answer, but no… assuming a zero sum game (a game america is ill prepared to “win”) is the mantra of decades of psychotic us leadership. so tired of this planet sized madhouse.

2·11 months agohow about an ad tailored precisely by your recent history - graphics/audio/content and all, delivered to you in different ways depending on how you are feeling at any given moment? an instant and dynamic money extraction machine shaping and shaped by your second by second stream of clicks and queries, completing the transformation of everyone into lab monkeys.

7·1 year agojust gonna point out that there is a fair amount of right wing, Hawley-esque batshit insanity in this video (my ivermectin beliefs are as good as your reviewed and reproducible research) - but on the important point (meta is globally dangerous and zuckerberg is pathologically sociopathic), I can agree.

Technology@lemmy.world•Meta whistleblower Sarah Wynn-Williams says company targeted teens with advertisements based on their ‘emotional state’English
76·1 year agoI am sure you already know, but the objection here is going after kids. literally profiling and then abusing their vulnerabilities for profit. this isnt your standard cereal box advertising, I think this is something much darker and more disgusting.

a problem that will go away
oh, god - I now have anticipatory… stirrings. thanks, obama.

clean cuts - thanks for the tldr.
well, peeps. its been a “fun”(for the least charitable definition of the word) ride.
naked mafia in the wh with really expensive toys to use against its foreign mafia peers never really sounded like a fun time but, hey… here we are. I mean, executing economic hit jobs on europe (the latest one is ballsy) and birthing a trump lead neo-axis vs whatever is left of the world. impressive shot.
I dunno, will there be a flash of intellectual and emotional reflection just before the state round exits the front - or perhaps just the flash and an afterwind.
I think I’ll go hug some people more.
