I think that was more collateral damage than anything, as Nintendo hasn’t went after clones of Citra the 3DS emulator like they have with clones of the switch emulator.

I can’t trust phone calls these days. Even if it’s a number that I recognize, there’s still a chance it could be a scammer spoofing the number. That happened to me once where someone spoofed my credit union’s number to try give them my money to protect my account.

If you’re interested in emulation, then the Steam Deck is worth your whole. There’s a program called Emudeck that will set you up with all the emulators from Game Boy to PS2 (and more). It’s easy to download and run and will do a lot of the configuration for you. While I haven’t played any PS2 games on it yet, I have played GameCube games and they run just fine, and most of the older systems will also run well.
