Cereal towering over everyone trying to stay inconspicuous during that scene always cracks me up.
Just a bridgeman doing his thing.

Short form content ruins people’s attention span. I’ll pass.
Not to mention the data is publicly accessible.
They got the Titan submersible guys on it.
Have they fixed the whole only lasting for a few weeks thing? That was the last issue i heard with perovskite cells.
I think you underestimate how ignorant people can be. The reason Aol still exists is because they are grifters too. My Aol example was to show that people are docile idiots and won’t change their habits. Aol is grifting just as much as reddit does. They’re just grifting different groups in different ways.
That’s why i think reddit and twitter will continue on for a long time. Maybe not as powerhouses but they won’t implode or go away any time soon.
People still use AOL internet. I expect Reddit and twitter to die sometime in the 2050s.
I’ll just disable, watch, reenable
Yeah, that’s way smarter than my suggestion. Glad I could help.
It sure can. Click on uBlock’s icon and choose the little eyedropper icon to enter picker mode. Then click on the shorts. In that window that pops up go to the part that says cosmetic filters and click on the top one. I don’t remember exactly which one will remove the shorts but just scroll through those until the shorts are highlighted with a red box. Then click create. That should get rid of them. Until youtube changes the element, which they do. I’ve had to re-do it twice so far this year.
I’m not sure on your second question. You could try it and then delete it if you can’t watch them.
I set up a ublock rule to block shorts. Clutter and inane bullshit is all they are.
the budget only allows typewriters.
I see them online for ~$350. You could build a decent budget pc for the same price. Or you could buy a few single board computers for the same price.
I’m betting the budget isn’t the problem.
Other way round. Scuttlebutt was the name for the casks of freshwater and then for the fountain. Sometime between those two eras it came to be the word for gossip because of the association with gossip being told around the scuttlebutt.
Why the F were they broadcasting the SSID on a “secret” wifi network? That’s just asking to get caught. If they had hidden the SSID most people would never have known about it.
What I get a kick out of is the down and upvotes mean basically nothing and yet people still get super sensitive about them. They only move your comment up or down the thread. It’s not like reddit where there is a karma count for all your posts and comments. Hell you don’t even get auto hidden like the way reddit would do. You just get downvoted.
Some people downvote to show disapproval. Others downvote if the comment doesn’t add to the conversation. Still others are just trolling. No one should worry about the downvotes.
I love that people keep saying formally instead of formerly and it makes it seem like twitter is the proper nomenclature and X is just slang.
I’m talking about the training phase of LLMs.that is the portion that is doing the scraping and generation of copy written data.
You using an already trained LLM to do some searches is not the same thing.
I grew up in Maine. Deer in the road isn’t an edge case there. It’s more like a nightly occurrence.
