All factored in. Backups 3-2-1 etc etc. No chance of your cloud service provider suddenly deciding to lock you out of services etc. Not your computer not your data.

Riskier too if you care about privacy, sovereignty and self-determinism.

This is a bit of a cop out though. At the moment a very small number of humans do a very large amount of the harm because there is no cost to doing so.

They do so because of perverse incentives. They socialize the costs and privatize the gains. This is a fundamental design flaw of Capitalism and in turn Corporations.

Individual action won’t fix systemic issues like major polluters being almost exclusively from industry but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take the suggested actions in any case. Just don’t fool yourself that it is enough.
